The Striped Pajama Squid ‘Sepioloidea lineolata’ are actually in fact cuttlefish despite their misleading name.

These little stripey dumplings have always been high on my bucket list for species to encounter. Well, I couldn’t believe my luck when after having painted this, I stumbled across one washed up on shore at my local beach! As they are nocturnal and bury themselves during the day they can be very hard to come across unless frequently doing night dives, so I just couldn’t believe my luck!
